I suppose I should include a little information about myself? Right, I'll try to keep it brief: I'm 23 years old and from the Midlands area in the UK. I like reading, writing (obviously), listening to music and spending copious amounts of money. I have an interest in high fashion and trends but must admit that I don't always follow them. Part of growing up means growing in to yourself and I've come to learn what suits me and what doesn't. I usually stick to the same sort of look and anyone who knows me would probably say that I'm rarely seen without a collared shirt, fitted blazer, skinny jeans or pair of heels. Personality wise I would describe myself as a cynical idealist. I read far too much Fitzgerald for someone my age and this probably has something to do with the reason that I'm no longer an optimist.
That said I do know how lucky I am to be blessed with some really incredible people in my life and the majority of my inspiration and support comes from my friends and family. As far as my plans for the future go I suppose I'm still trying to figure it all out. I know that in the near future I'd like to move to London and continue to pursue a career in fashion journalism. Eventually I'd also like to travel as I've not had the chance to see many of the places that I'd most like to visit. Getting an opportunity to publish a novel someday would also be a dream come true.
In the meantime however I'm fairly content with just spending too much money, drinking too much coffee, testing the patience of those around me and taking life as it comes.
